COP29 Baku
COP29 was the United Nations Climate Change Conference hosted in Baku, one of the largest international gatherings the city has held. It required an extensive temporary venue and pavilion build, with exhibition halls, meeting spaces and supporting facilities delivered to a strict, immovable schedule. CES contributed equipment and operators to the construction and fit-out effort, helping teams work at height and handle materials efficiently across a very large site.
We provided aerial work platforms for ceiling, rigging and finishing work, telehandlers and forklifts for the movement of building materials and pavilion components, and cranes for heavier lifting where required. Machines were supplied with trained operators together with delivery, logistics coordination and technical support, so the venue could be completed safely and handed over ready for an event held under intense international attention.
